Hi, Samsung Sign Worldwide License for 3D Graphics Engine

The HI CORPORATION announced today that the company has executed a worldwide license agreement with Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd (hereinafter "Samsung") for the use of HI's 3D graphics engine MascotCapsule on Samsung handsets.

Samsung is the world's leading handset manufacturer and provides various kinds of mobile devices. HI and Samsung have agreed on embedding MascotCapsule into Samsung handsets for the global market.

The first Samsung device embedded with a MascotCapsule will be released in China, followed by global releases.

Over 50 content developers, including world wide major players, have already started the development of 3D content using MascotCapsule. This agreement between HI and Samsung will further expand the market for MascotCapsule based content.
